Maple Sail

These constructions take about a month.
I spent two weeks gathering downed trees and cutting them up into boards that would fit the construction.

Then one hundred 2x4's were used to sketch the sail and serve as scaffolding.

Then each of the boards were fitted, using a small chainsaw, and nailed into place.

Often I climb down and check that the added board fits both aesthetically and structurally.
